The "Franklin Delano Roosevelt" postage stamp was issued in 1982. This stamp celebrates the 100th anniversary of President Roosevelt's birth. In remembering this past President, it is interesting to note that he was an avid stamp collector and assisted in the design of many stamps while he was President.
