What Sets Us Apart?
Our Bespoke Approach: We strongly believe that every project represents an opportunity to work on products that reflects your unique story, journey, and vision. So, there are no short cuts or cookie cutter designs in our studio. Every design that leaves our studio is different.
From Designing to Mailing, We Are a One Stop Shop: Not only do we design, print, and assemble your invitations, but we also provide vintage postage services! So, you don't have to worry about making sure that you have the right postage amount or looking for postage! You don't have to worry about the differences between "hand-cancelling," "hand sorting" or "non-machinable" services at USPS. We have sent invitations and worked on wedding postage for years. In that time, we have walked hundreds of clients through the process. We know postage and we know how to mail your invitations!
We Welcome Creative Challenges: We love creative challenges and our bespoke approach allows you to experiment! We are constantly exploring, evolving, and meeting new vendors and making friends across the industry. This means that we can bring new inks, papers and approaches to your projects!
We are Always Open, Online: We have a slight, unhealthy, obsession with our work and are personally invested in your happiness . . . so we are always open, online. That means that you can email or message us on social media, and you are generally going to get a response right away! This commitment is very personal to Loly and is at the heart of the Little Postage House. When Loly was planning her own wedding (before founding the Little Postage House), she designed her own invitations and worked with a local printer. The printer was a super nice guy, but turned out to be very unresponsive and unreliable. He ended up disappearing several times, for weeks on end. After talking to her friends, Loly realized that this was a common problem in the industry. When she founded the Little Postage House, Loly made a commitment to always be open, online and to make the wedding process a little bit easier and fun!

flat (digital) printing
Standard digital printing allows for full-color printing on card stocks, papers and envelopes at a lower cost and quicker turnaround than the other methods described below. It is ideal for watercolor, hand-painted or multicolored aesthetics, photos and beautiful typography. It can paired with one of the below methods and used for envelope addressing, escort cards, envelope liners, wedding programs or menus.
Letterpress printing is one of the oldest printing methods that exists and involves the use of antique cast iron presses. Custom inks are positioned into the bed of the press and inked, then paper is then pressed against it to transfer the ink, creating an elegant, tactile effect. It is truly a work of love, as each sheet of paper is hand fed through the press one at a time! The result is a beautiful impression that can felt! The best results are obtained when using a dark printing on light paper! Given the hand crafted nature of the work, it means that there will be slight variations between your invitation pieces (e.g., color, ink and impression).
Foil stamping is similar to Letterpress printing. However, it uses a brass or copper die and foil to create metallic result.
white ink printing
White ink printing allows us to print white text and graphics on dark paper. It is more cost effective than foil stamping with white foil. However, digital white printing is less opaque.
